Above ground diesel fuel storage tanks are Austank’s number 1 selling product. They come in all shapes & sizes, we have a standard range that starts from 100lt and goes to 110,000lt for self bunded (double skinned) and 200,000lt for single skin.
As well as our standard tanks we also design and fabricate, skid mounted tanks, chemical and waste tanks and containerised fuel cells & crane refuelling tanks.
Our tanks are custom made from GR250 carbon steel and are externally coated by an industrial sandblaster/painter to your specifications.
Above ground Diesel Fuel Storage tank categories.
CAT 1 – Tanks of up to 1200lt, above ground use, used for storing oil in domestic situations – regarded as redundant. Flammable liquids cannot use CAT 1 tanks.
CAT 2 – Vertical or Horizontal tanks of up to 2500Lt, for above ground use and intended for use on farms and other open spaces – see our FARM TANKS range
CAT 3 – Rectangular tanks for above ground use. – see our RECTANGULAR TANKS range
CAT 4 – Horizontal cylindrical tanks of up to 150,000Lt, for above ground use for industrial or service station use
CAT 5 – Vertical cylindrical tanks of up to 150,000Lt, for above ground use for industrial use – see our VERTICAL tank range
CAT 6 – vertical tanks of any capacity of a size or type that are erected on site i.e. bolted tanks
